The 11th International Conference on BioSensors, BioElectronics, BioMedical Devices, BioMEMS/NEMS & Applications (Bio4Apps2025)
On
behalf of the Conference Committee, it is my pleasure to welcome you to the
11th International Conference on Biosensors, Bioelectronics, Biomedical
Devices, and BioMEMS/NEMS & Applications (Bio4Apps2025), which will be held
from December 11 to 14 at National University of Singapore Research Institute
Suzhou (NUSRI), China, and then from December 14 to 17 at National University
of Singapore (NUS), Singapore.
General
Chair Dr. Chengkuo Lee
General
Co-Chair Dr. Huicong Liu
The 11th edition of Bio4Apps aims to bring together researchers from around the world to share their findings and expand the frontiers of knowledge in the community related to AI-enhanced bio-technology and micro/nano-engineering. The conference will feature a broad spectrum of topics, covering both fundamental research and practical applications in biosensors, bioelectronics, biomedical devices, and BioMEMS/NEMS & their applications. The inaugural Bio4Apps conference took place at NUS (2012) and has since been hosted by esteemed institutions including Tokyo Medical and Dental University (2013), Shanghai Jiao Tong University (2014), Kyushu University (2015), Griffith University (2016), the University of Tokyo (2017), Harbin Institute of Technology (2018), Kagoshima University (2019), Griffith University (2023), and will once again be held at NUS & NUSRI in 2025.
In view of the rapid advancements in robotic technology including rehabilitation robots, exoskeletons, and surgical robots, this year’s conference will spotlight innovative developments in intelligent assistive technology, sensing and haptic feedback technology and wearable systems designed to enhance mobility, recovery, and patient quality of life. Furthermore, the accelerating progress of artificial intelligence (AI) in biosensors, bioelectronics, bioMEMS/bioNEMS and autonomous robotics is opening new avenues for nanomedicines, smart diagnostics and next-generation therapeutic strategies. This lays a solid foundation for the future application of robotics in areas such as precision medicine, personalized therapy, and human–machine interaction. Building on the continued success of past Bio4Apps conferences, we are pleased to welcome an increasingly diverse and global community of scholars, researchers, and industry leaders contributing high-quality presentations across a broad spectrum of bioengineering disciplines.
The Bio4Apps2025 starts with a three-day program in Suzhou, followed by another three-day program in Singapore. Bio4Apps2025 promises to be a dynamic and high-quality event by engaging top-notch scholars to provide presentations and dedicated posters. It is my great pleasure to present you a high-caliber scientific and strategic program that fosters networking, collaboration, and the exchange of ideas among participants. These initiatives will catalyze interdisciplinary collaboration and foster research advancement in the field within a global framework.
Furthermore, as the conference transitions from the crisp winter ambiance of Suzhou to the tropical warmth of Singapore, we hope participants will not only benefit from the vibrant academic exchange but also enjoy the seasonal contrast and the distinctive cultural experiences offered by both cities. We look forward to seeing you at Bio4Apps 2025!
